Founder and owner Taylor Schrang Ready watched the same story play out more than once. 

Capable adults wanted to remain in the homes they loved, but the homes themselves were beginning to make  everyday life harder. 

That led Taylor to explore accessibility in residential design and discover how much can often be improved  through thoughtful planning before a move becomes the only option. 

She created Age In Place North Texas to help homeowners make beautiful, practical changes that support the  way they live today while preparing the home for what may come next. 

As a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), Taylor brings specialized training in accessibility and long-term  living needs together with a design-first approach. Her goal is not to make a home look “accessible.” It is to  integrate support so naturally that it simply feels like good design.
